Gulf Coast Plumbing of Central Florida, Inc. was founded in July of 1999.

In the 18 years since our inception, we have procured, bid, negotiated, designed, value engineered, built and warrantied over 346 projects amounting to well over 72,859 multi-family units.

Here at GCP we thrive on fast pace project schedules and excel at designing affordable plumbing systems. We believe that designing a more cost effective project does not equate to sacrificing quality or efficiency.

One of the strongest testaments to our fiscal strength is our bonding rate. We have a bonding capability of $30,000,000.00 from an underwriter that has a long term rating of A+. Furthermore, we bill at a mere 1% of the total contract price, which is well below the industry standard.

Our Team

ROBERT SUTTON: President, CEO, & Chief Estimator

He has a marketing degree from St. Johns University and over 35 years of experience in the field of plumbing from laborer to owner.

Prior to founding Gulf Coast Plumbing in 1999, Bob created and operated the Gulf Coast Division of the J.A. Croson Company from 1996 to 1999 and held a managing position for H & H Mechanical from 1990 to 1996.

Bob involves himself in all aspects of each and every project and stresses the importance of maintaining open lines of communication.

His knowledge, dedication, and leadership have advanced Gulf Coast Plumbing into one of the leading plumbing contractors in the state of Florida.

ROMUALDO PINEDA: Vice President & Field Manager

Romualdo started his career in 1989 working for H & H Mechanical.

Then from 1997 to 1999 he held a supervisory position for the J.A. Croson Company. In 1999 he decided to partner with the Gulf Coast Plumbing team as the Vice President.

The knowledge he has acquired through his 15 years of experience and Master Plumber's license is applied daily to the affordable and efficient plumbing system designs that Gulf Coast Plumbing is known for.

As the Chief Field Coordinator and Project Manager, he is responsible for coordinating all of GCP's field crews to meet the production schedules of each project.

TERRY O'DOWD: CFO & Treasurer

A graduate of the University of South FL, Terry has 30 years of experience in the field of accounting with more than 20 years running his own accounting business.

He has extensive experience with Davis-Bacon projects and bonded payroll.

He manages all of the financial accounting, insurance, human resources and IT concerns for the company.

CHRISTINE DILLON: Director of Operations

A Cum Laude graduate from the University of South Florida, Christine has been working in the administrative & construction management fields for over 15 years.

From 1997-1999 she worked in a clerical position for the J.A. Croson Company.

In May of 1999 she joined the Gulf Coast Plumbing team as an Executive Administrative Assistant.

Today she is the Director of Operations, responsible for coordinating the execution of each project from the time of bid to closeout.

With our in-house design and CAD teams, GCP is easily and accurately able to provide you with cost effective suggestions and drawings for fixtures and plumbing systems.

Whether you involve GCP at the project's concept stage or during the permitting process, we are always ready and able to turn around a quality plumbing system that exemplifies both the monetary and water savings that the plumbing code intended.

Our affordable fixture options have all been reviewed and approved to ensure their quality and performance. More importantly,they have all been selected to meet the requirements of the "Green Revolution."

Going Green

The goals of today's apartment building are not only to be a desired place to live but also environmentally green. GCP understands this and has selected to feature fixtures that meet or exceed the requirements of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.

Furthermore, flow rates and usage consumptions are all calculated when designing the plumbing systems so that they not only meet code but are also environmentally friendly. Gulf Coast Plumbing will happily work with you in your endeavor to acquire water use reduction credits.

Here at Gulf Coast Plumbing we take pride in the work we do.

All of our employees have had years of experience making quality installations. We understand that time is money and go to great lengths to ensure that the project is completed within the scheduled parameters.

Because we believe that our work should speak for itself, many of our general contractors are repeat clients and know they can expect the highest of standards to be met by GCP.

They know that when Gulf Coast Plumbing steps onto the project:

Paperwork will be submitted accurately and on time.
Project Foreman will attend every meeting and maintain a constant line of communication so as to never fall behind schedule.
Our Area Manager and Quality Control Manager will walk every building during each phase to be sure that only the most pristine work is being completed.

Gulf Coast Plumbing includes a one year service warranty for all projects.

Prior to the project being turned over to the owner, all of the maintenance manuals and manufacturer's warranties will be bound and provided.
We also guarantee that we will respond to any emergency service request within 24 hours of notification.
We stand behind the quality of our work and, should a repair be needed, we will correct it quickly and to the satisfaction of our client.
